Task

Invited by andhüman Studio, I collaborated on the development of the visual direction for a project centered around an unlikely subject: compliance.

Typically perceived as restrictive and innovation-limiting, compliance is often seen as something that slows things down. Together, we set out to challenge this narrative.

The strategy was built on a simple premise: compliance is not the opposite of creativity—it is what enables it. By reframing structure as a foundation for trust, freedom, and progress, we shifted the perception entirely. The resulting brand embraces rigour while uncovering its inherent aesthetic potential, demonstrating that even in highly regulated environments, constraints don’t hinder creativity—they make it possible.

Approach

We developed a visual language that operates between control and expression—where boundaries become the very surface for exploration.

The identity merges system and art: strict parameters giving rise to unexpected forms. At its core is a generative approach—programmed structures designed to produce moments of serendipity. Structured, yet alive. Code becomes craft. A distinctive ink thread runs through the logotype, typography, and illustration system, referencing legal foundations while remaining fluid and contemporary. The result mirrors Truth Systems itself: frameworks that enable rather than constrain.

Outcome & Credits

Truth Systems has grown from an emerging startup into a recognised industry presence, marked by a $4M funding round and a brand built to scale with confidence.

The rebrand positions Truth Systems as a defining voice in AI governance—balancing technical rigour with human consequence. It reframes compliance as a strategic advantage rather than a limitation. Today, enterprise clients see structure and safety not as overhead, but as a competitive edge, with Truth Systems at the forefront of that shift.
