Task

How can we build an identity that is driven by nature and represents both an image and data-points?

Approach

We followed different approaches: Quick iteration of animation sets from a single starting point & using actual data to animate on a timeline. Generate more than a dozen of outputs per iteration cycle and curate the best ones – similar to how nature evolves patterns, we evolved just the best strands that stood out to us.

Outcome & Credits

A series of fractals that represent the invisible patterns of data in nature.

Creative coding allowed us to input UKCEH data and use it as the foundational material for the fractals – building an identity out of their world-leading insight.
